OLKHON ISLAND

Olkhon Island, located in the middle of Baikal Lake, isolates the "small sea" from the rest of the lake. With more than sixty kilometers long and about nine kilometers wide, only has 1500 inhabitants, Olkhon Island has the most beautiful landscapes of Baikal Lake, especially in its northern area. The island also has a lot of sacred places for shamanist religion, which still has believers on Olkhon.

Because of the large amount of pictures taken in Olkhon, I put them under several categories corresponding to specific areas or sceneries:

Cape Khoboi

Three Brothers

North East coast

Kuzhir Village

West coast

Olkhon's forest

Southern Olkhon
