KUZHIR VILLAGE
With a 1,000 population living on fishing, Kuzhir village is the main one on Olkhon island. Very isolated, the village is however now connected to the electric network, and has a few shops offering some products from the outside. The village is only made of traditional siberian wooden houses, and its population is half Russian, half Buriat.
