Zhongdian is a Tibetan town in northern Yunnan, only a few dozens kilometers away from the Tibet autonomous region. Renamed recently Shangri La to develop tourism, Zhongdian is 3000 meters high and in the heart of a green and mountain land, which is perfect for hiking.
