DANDONG

Dandong, a small city in Liaoning province, is located on the Yalu River, which constitutes the border with North Korea. Dandong is facing the North Korean city of Sinuiju, and is the main contact point with this country. A lot of Sino-Koreans as well as Koreans live in this area, which is quite influenced by this crossborder culture. Besides a modern bridge, another bridge, half destroyed during the Korean War, is crossing the Yalu River.
