Dali is a small town in Western Yunnan and the majority of its population is of the Bai minority. Its old town has been perfectly preserved and its very special architecture attracts a lot of travellers. Nearby Dali, Erhai lake and a lot of temples and villages are good opportunities to hike in the countryside.
